Sheriff's Foundation Supports Annual Holiday Activities
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Foundation is proud to support many community events during this holiday season.
The Foundation provided grants to support the annual Shop With a Cop event which pairs deputies and other sheriff's office staff with kids and families in need. Each child is given a $100 gift card to allow them to shop for holiday gifts for their family members. This is a fun event for all involved and creates a great opportunity for positive interaction between youth and law enforcement.
The Foundation also provided grants to the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office in support of their annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner. Each year, volunteers from the community provide thousands of hours of service for the various sheriff's office units including Water Patrol Reserve Deputies, Community Affairs Officers, Youth Law Enforcement Explorers, Dive Team, and more. The annual dinner is a time for the Sheriff's Office to thank the volunteers for their service to their communities and to enjoy some fun holiday cheer and socializing.
